University Application Tutors

International Scholars Tuition has been providing helpful advice to Hong Kong students, who are applying to the top universities in the UK (UCAS), USA (Common App), HK (Non-JUPAS), and Canada (Ontario OAUC) since 2005. Most IST students hope to study Medicine, Law, Business, Economics, or STEM. We often recommend that Med and Law applicants target the UK first because students may enter directly after secondary school, whereas in the USA, students must enter Pre-Med or Pre-Law for at least two years and then score high on the MCAT or LSAT. IST tutors can help with every step of the process, but most students request the most help with the personal statement, application essays, and interview practice. The most successful applicants have excellent grades, outstanding letters of reference, exceptional extra-curricular activities and internships, near perfect test scores, and a long list of accomplishments that display a passion for the field of study.
