Principal Geography Tutor

Mr Don Ho holds a Bachelor of Education (Alberta) and a Master of Business Administration (Victoria) and has been tutoring Geography since 2005.

The students that Don has tutored have achieved excellent results, in topics ranging from glacial landscapes and ecosystems to a student of
St Swithun’s School at GCSE level; migration and globalization to an AQA GCSE student at Blundell’s School; UK populations and industry to a students from German Swiss International School (GSIS), Canadian International School (CDNIS) and Victoria Shanghai Academy at IB Higher Level; and River and Plate tectonics to the students from Headington School Oxford. More recently, Don has tutored population change, development gap, and changing urban and rural environments to GCSE students from Badminton School and Cheltenham Ladies College. To an AQA GCSE student from Epsom College, Don tutored weather and climate. To CIE IGCSE students from YMCA of Hong Kong Christian College and Oundle School, Don tutored how to use graphical and cartographical skills to discuss the effects of cultural, economic, physical, political, and social environments on landscapes. Don has tutored the natural environment and the human environment to Edexcel IGCSE students who attend Harrow International School HK, KGV, and DGS (Diocesan Girls School). To AQA GCE AS/A2 students from Headington School and Oratory School, Don tutored contemporary geographical issues such as plate tectonics and associated hazards, and world cities. Mr Ho has also helped many GSIS students with Geo prep for their Winchester College Entrance Exams and 13+ Common Entrance Exams and Scholarship Exams, and the King’s Scholarship at Eton College.
